Edward Tan – Technology

Edward is an avid foodie, photographer and technologist who loves to solve problems and tinker with the latest gadgets and apps. He has worked for both small startups and large Fortune 100 companies and enjoys collaborating with people from around the world. A polyglot full stack programmer who is passionate about education, Edward previously co-founded a startup that makes it easier for people to learn how to code. In his spare time, Edward enjoys playing strategy games and watching baseball, often at the same time.

Sinclair Wu – Product

Sinclair enjoys leaping over painted mushrooms, perhaps because he was a video game character in a former life. Inspired in his 20s by Martin Luther King’s question: “What are you doing for others,” Sinclair co-founded a nonprofit that jazzed up math for high school students and connected it with the real world. After volunteering at many schools and working in tech for over 15 years, Sinclair thought he’d try to combine the best of both worlds to tackle educational inequities both in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. A fan of game shows and Netflix food documentaries, Sinclair enjoys puzzles of all kinds and eating Mitchell’s ice cream.
